At John Keble C of E Primary School, Hursley, we believe that geography should inspire curiosity about the world and develop a strong sense of place and belonging. We value first-hand experiences that bring learning to life, enabling our children to explore, investigate and understand the human and physical features of their local area and beyond.
Our rich geography curriculum makes meaningful connections to the local community, encouraging children to appreciate their environment, understand how places change over time and recognise their role as responsible global citizens. Through enquiry-based learning, fieldwork and real-world experiences, our children develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to engage thoughtfully with the world around them.
