At John Keble Church of England Primary School, Religious Education is at the heart of our curriculum, enabling every child to flourish as informed, thoughtful and respectful members of a diverse society.
In line with the Church of England Statement of Entitlement (2026), our RE curriculum provides our children with a rich understanding of Christianity as a living and global faith, whilst also developing knowledge and appreciation of a range of religious and non-religious worldviews.
Through enquiry, reflection and discussion, our children explore big questions about meaning, belief and identity, develop religious literacy, and learn to engage with others with curiosity, respect and generosity.
Our RE teaching nurtures children's personal worldview and equips them to live well in a multi-religious and multi-secular world.
