At John Keble C of E Primary School, we have benefited from PE and Sport Premium funding, which has enabled us to enhance the quality of physical education, physical activity and sport for all pupils.

As the funding comes to an end during the 2026-27 academic year, we remain committed to ensuring that the improvements made through this investment become embedded within our school's provision. Our focus is on sustaining high-quality PE teaching, promoting healthy and active lifestyles, and continuing to provide a broad range of sporting opportunities for all children.

Throughout the funding period, we have used the grant to:

• develop and enrich PE, sport and physical activity opportunities for pupils;
• build the knowledge, skills and confidence of staff to deliver high-quality PE;
• increase participation in physical activity across the school;
• create sustainable improvements that will continue to benefit pupils in future years.

The impact of the funding has been measured against the following key areas:

• increased engagement of all pupils in regular physical activity;
• raising the profile of PE, sport and physical activity across the school;
• improved confidence, knowledge and skills of staff teaching PE;
• a broader range of sports and physical activities available to pupils;
• increased participation in competitive sport.

As we move beyond the funding programme, we will continue to build on these successes to ensure that physical activity, sport and wellbeing remain an important part of every child's experience at John Keble C of E Primary School.
