In Year 1 and 2 we have been discussing the use of plastic and the impact it has in the Arctic. We looked how animals can eat and be caught in plastic and the dangers this poses. We also discussed how unrecycled plastic which is burned contributes to global warming and the melting of ice, leading to the loss of habitats for the animals. 

We then shared all our information with the school in Collective Worship.
